Amnesty International today warned the Tunisian authorities against mounting attacks against freedom of expression in the name of defending morality and religion and called for the immediate and unconditional release of prisoners of conscience after three young men were sentenced to prison terms for insulting Islam and Muslims.
A group of Tunisian students from civil society held a press conference on Sunday, May 6 with the Palestinian refugee camp residents in Shousha refugee camp. The briefing discussed “the distress and suffering” experienced by Palestinian refugees in the camp.

Its focus is to develop and implement strategies for direct participation of organisations and networks of civil society organisations (CSOs) working for the defense and promotion of women's rights in the region.
