The Arabic Network for Human Rights Information today said that an Egyptian blogger lost his job because of his political views on his blog. The blogger,Mohammed Maree, was dismissed from his job because of his blog posts on the Internet.

The Arabic Network for Human Rights Information today, strongly rejected the Ministry of Culture and Information decision on January 1st , 2011 to approve the new executive regulation of electronic publishing, which contained 20 articles dealing with electronic publishing with the same restrictive manner in dealing with newspapers and publications in the Saudi system for publishing and publications.

Jailed blogger’s wife talks to the BBC

Jenan Al Oraibi, the wife of Ali Abdulemam, a blogger who has been detained in Bahrain since 4 September (http://en.rsf.org/bahrain-detained-human-rights-activists-02-11-2010,387...), has given a moving account of his detention and treatment by the authorities in an interview for the BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-12000292).

The Arabic Network for Human Rights Information today strongly denounced the blocking of Elaph electronic paper .Elaph is a political paper owned by the Saudi journalist Othman alOmair. The site was blocked without giving reasons and no official department declared its responsibility for this decision.
