Free Gaza: Of Course We Dealt with Turkish Government

Bethlehem - PNN - In response to what it calls "Israeli propaganda" about the role of the Turkish government in aiding their May 31 flotilla, the group Free Gaza said in a press release it had dealings with government officials from the United States, Cyprus, Greece, Sweden, Ireland, and the United Kingdom as well as Turkey, but never received "financial, material, or logistic support" from any of them.

Israel's U.S. Ambassador Michael Oren: No One Will Dictate Our Borders

Washington D.C. - PNN - Israel's ambassador to the United States Michael Oren spoke at an economic event that celebrated 25 years of Free Trade between Israel and the U.S on Tuesday. Ambassador Michael Oren remarks on Israel stated that Israel's borders would not be dictated but decided through negotiations. Oren said, "Like Ben-Gurion, Netanyahu will not allow the United Nations, or any other organization, to dictate our borders. They will be determined through negotiations."

Rights Organisations Testify to Israel's Flotilla Inquiry Commission

Members of human rights organizations in Israel testified before the Turkel Commission on Wednesday, 13 October, as part of the commission's examination of the fatal actions surrounding the May Freedom Flotilla’s attempt to break the Gaza siege and the "actions of the flotilla's organizers and those who participated in it.”
