The forum of social movement has started on March 5^th 2010, with a main theme on “10 years of social forum for another possible world”.

The forum attended by 700 participants from different parts of the world. It is a three-day forum which covers different social issues, the first day of the forum cover issues on: 

• • The FSMaghreb and the Maghreb of peoples: a process under construction: social movements, challenges and prospects presented by Secretariat of FSMaghreb. 
• • Homage to Palestine: International civil campaign for protection of Palestinian people at the Russel tribunal: assessment of the international social movement against crimes committed by Israel presented by Ahmed Jaradate – Alternative Information Center.
• • 10 years of FSM: What progress? What challenges and prospects? Presented by Moema Miranda – Ibase, International Council of FSM.
• • The global social movement facing the systemic crisis of capitalism, presented by Gus Massiah – IPAM – CI of FSM.
• • The FSM 2011 in Dakar: change or continuity? What benefits for Africa? Presented by Taoufik Benabdellah – CI of FSA.
