Note by the Secretary-General
The Secretary-General has the honour to transmit to the General Assembly the
interim report of the Special Rapporteur on the right to education, Kishore Singh,
submitted in accordance with Human Rights Council resolutions 8/4 and 17/3.

 Summary

ADEA and the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) will hold a Youth Consultation Forum on October 19-21, 2011, in Rabat, Morocco.

CCD held the fourth training workshop on political education for university students in Al Fayoum, in cooperation with the German organization Hanns Seidel Foundation. The workshop has been held in July 26 - 28, 2011. the workshop aims at educating youth politically and raising awareness and making them more active in political life especially in the current circumstances, which witnesses transition from dictatorship to democracy. The workshop is one of the most important programs conducted by the organization after the great revolution of January 25. The workshop witnessed equal participation from male and female as the organization sets gender equality and women's rights as a high priority issues in all programs. Further, the workshop witnessed the participation of 5 disabled persons of blind people.
