THE DEBATE ON STRATEGY AND WSF FUTURE

In the WSF IC meeting in Berlin (Germany), held at the end of last May,
it was decided that the first meeting of the IC to be held in 2008
would be in a African country and will be mainly dedicated to debating
“strategies”. This text is a support tool for a first facilitation of
this debate, which tries to organise a summary mapping of the issues

Prototype Global Disability Rights Library Launches

Human rights and disability rights advocates around the globe can now access a newly launched tool for finding the knowledge and toolkits they need: the Global Disability Rights Library (GDRL) at http://gdrl.org. A prototype "test" version of this library is being made available both on-line and off-line so that users can share feedback with the GDRL team on improving the library.

Regime Approves Activists Meeting in Damascus!

In the context of striving to strike at the foundations of the Syrian regime, Syrian revolutionaries expand their work to the economic sphere in addition to the political and security spheres of activism. They initiated a broad campaign on facebook urging Syrians to withdraw their savings and account balances from Syrian banks as it constitutes an important card that pressures hardly and most aggressively on the regime by exhausting and draining its economy.
